Who’s behind Simply Life?
Simply Life is a labour of love by my husband (Gilbert) and me (Yih Min). We started in this industry in 2004 distributing children’s products licensed from international brands like Disney, Mattel and Thomas & Friends. You can view those products on our Creative Moms website. As the licensing and distribution business grew, so did our dreams. Applying everything we had learned, and still working closely with our brand principals and international partners, we ventured to launch our own label Simply Life in 2012. Doing so has allowed us to bring our personal vision and experience with parenthood and what we think it means to live a passionate and abundant life to the market and impact positively the lives of children and parents everywhere. Starting with a modest collection of just ten water bottles, the brand has in a few years grown to cover a spectrum of products catering to all age groups and life cycles, from baby and toddler to kids and adults. Today, Simply Life has an ardent following who look forward to every product launch, from apparels to homeware.
Are your products safe?
Absolutely. All Simply Life homeware items are made with FDA-approved food-grade melamine and BPA-free plastics, while the water bottles are made with BPA-free Eastman Tritan™ copolyester, which is a top-quality, branded, BPA-free plastic. We use only materials that have passed stringent safety tests. Safety is your concern. It’s ours too.
What’s great about bamboo fabric?
Simply Life uses bamboo fabric in many of our products because it is perfect for our tropical, humid weather. It is naturally anti-fungal, hypoallergenic and antibacterial. It is also more breathable, thermoregulating, wicks water away from the body up to four times faster than cotton, and does not stick to the skin. Products made with bamboo are ultrasoft, luxuriously cool to the touch and very comfortable.
How do your bamboo products measure up to those in the market?
The percentage composition of bamboo in our baby and toddler products are far higher than those commonly available: 95% compared to the more conventional 70%. What you get from our baby and toddler bamboo lines are amazing comfort and superior hygiene… basically everything you love about bamboo and its benefits, supersized.
What does OEKO-TEX® Standard 100 certified mean?
The OEKO-TEX® label is the most comprehensive label used globally to certify that the textile used in baby and toddler garments is healthy and free from harmful substances. Most bamboo products are made of fabrics that are OEKO-TEX® Standard 100 certified. Ours too.
All our products come packed in a Simply Life branded box or a branded/plain poly bag and will be shipped out in recycled boxes/cartons for local orders and poly mailer bags for overseas orders. Should your ordered items be intended as gifts kindly let us know in your order memo, we will do our best to ensure that the packaging is in mint condition and inform you what type of packaging the item is encased in. Please bear in mind that the product photo may be slightly different from actual item in terms of color due to the lighting during photo shooting or your monitor display settings.
The indicated sizes for our apparels are only a guide. Kids (and adults) comes in all sizes and may not fit the clothes specified in their age group. You may find our size chart here. Please note that measurements have an allowance of up to 2cm difference due to sewing of the stretchy bamboo material. We are always looking to improve on our range of products, should you be unable to find the measurements for a particular product or need to find out more feel free to contact us.
Care & Washing

Bamboo fabric is an extremely absorbent material and gets really heavy when wet. When drying the apparel, lay flat across a rack to prevent stretching. To further prevent stretching you may like to put your bamboo apparel in a laundry net when washing. Drying flat and in the shade will help avoid that "crisp" texture, if not it should also considerably soften upon wearing.
Most fabric will eventually pill to a certain degree but the rate that it happens all depends on various factors such as the production of the material (the type of fibre, how was it woven etc), how we use the item (higher friction at an area, say where we sit or rub against often), and how we wash it. We generally find that our apparels do last for a long time but have come across some that do pill while some do not. One thing that we find helpful in reducing pilling is to wash our products inside out or even in a net.
Our tiny team works hard to update online stock availability whenever possible. However as we supply to retail counters concurrently there may be times when your ordered item is out of stock. Should that happen, you will be notified and be entitled to a full refund or you may exchange the item in question for another item of similar value.
To physically browse the largest range available, head down to our flagship counter at Takashimaya, Ngee Ann City level 4 Children Department and basement 2 Household Department.
We are also available at most major departmental stores such as Robinsons, Metro, Isetan, OG, and BHG, and various Kiddy Palace stores. Due to the ever changing face of retail and space constraints, kindly contact us for more details if you are searching for a particular product. Takashimaya and our online store is probably is your best bet but we will do our best to help.
Do carry gift boxes?
You can find ready-made gift boxes here. They typically come in size 0-3 months or 3-6 months, the size of the apparel will be indicated on the product page.
For items ordered as a gift kindly note the following:
- Order Note: State any requests here and indicate your message with quote marks: e.g "Dear XXXX, your message XXXX. Love from XXXX"
- Contact Information: Put in your own email
- Shipping Address: Indicate the recipient's name, address, and contact number
- Payment: Have your own contact number and address in the Billing Address section
Having the right contact information in the appropriate fields will allow us to contact you quickly and easily, and enables the courier to contact your intended recipient during delivery.
Do you do custom gift hampers/boxes?
We do offer a service for curated gift boxes. We will work with you based on your budget and you may be charged for extra costs such as a bigger box or delivery. You may indicate in your memo the preferred gender/size/colour/item or let us know if it will be completely up to us to curate the gift. We will keep you updated through correspondence in email. Gift Cards (Simply Life Credit)
You may purchase e-gift cards here. They have a validity of 24 months from the date of purchase. Gift cards and credits are considered currency therefore we are unable check for your codes should you lose them. We can however resend the card to the email account you bought the gift card with.
Gift cards and store credits can be used on discounted products. Discount codes, however, are not applicable unless otherwise stated.
All gift cards and store credits are non-refundable, non-extensible, and non-exchangeable for cash. Simply Life reserves the right to refuse, cancel or hold for review any gift cards for suspected fraud, mistakenly issued in an incorrect denomination, or for other violations of our policies or Singapore's law.
If you would like to check on your remaining balance, kindly contact us and we will send an update of the gift card to the email it is tagged to.
What are your delivery options?
For orders within Singapore we deliver using a local courier with a tracking number.
For overseas addresses we deliver using Register Air Parcel.
Do you ship overseas?
Yes, we do ship overseas. Products will be flat-packed with any box packaging removed. Should the items be intended as a gift do let us know in the Order Note section to have the flat boxes included in your parcel.
What are your delivery charges?
Our delivery charge (which includes shipping and handling) for shipping within Singapore is $10SGD $6SGD per order. Free delivery is available for orders above $70SGD $50SGD.
Great news for our neighbors in Malaysia – we have secured promotional rates with Ninja Express. Revised shipping plans are:
Free shipping > S$100
Orders below S$100 - S$10 shipping to West Malaysia, S$20 shipping to East Malaysia.
For shipping within the majority of Asian countries, our delivery charge is $40SGD and free delivery for orders above $180.
For other majority of international countries the delivery charge is $60 SGD and free delivery for orders above $350SGD.
Import duties, customs fees, local sales taxes
Please be aware that all international orders, regardless of shipping method, may subject to additional duties, taxes, and customs clearance fees. Duties, taxes, and fees are not included in the prices listed on our website.
Buyers are responsible for all import duties, customs and local sales taxes charged by the destination country.
How quickly can I receive my order?
Within Singapore: Typically within 2-5 working days
Upon processing your order the courier will pickup your package on the following working day, after which delivery takes 1-3 working days to reach you. A tracking link and code will be included in your order confirmation email unless otherwise stated.
For overseas: An estimate of 4 – 14 days

Some orders may take slightly longer to reach you, particularly during sale and peak seasons. We seek your understanding in this.
Our operational hours are from Monday to Friday 9.000am to 5.30pm Singapore time, excluding local Public Holidays.
What types of payment do you accept?
You can pay with Visa, MasterCard, American Express, and PayPal. Regrettably, we do not accept personal checks, money orders, or Monopoly money.
When will my card be charged?
Charges will go through on the date your order is confirmed.
What if the item unavailable?
In the event that the item ordered is not available, you will be notified and you will be entitled to a full refund or you may exchange the item in question for another item of similar value.
